Membership in the Florida UAS Working Group is free and open to agencies and organizations with existing unmanned systems capabilities as well as to those looking to develop a program.

Current members include the Florida Division of Emergency Management, state and local law enforcement agencies, local fire departments and agencies, local emergency management organizations, private sector companies, and academic partners. Information is shared from FEMA Region 4, the FAA, and other concerned parties – it can be a valuable resource for established and developing UAS teams.

The Working Group exists primarily for information exchange. It is not a response entity, and membership does not mean organizations or teams will be assigned a role or mission in any emergency or disaster.

To request membership in the group, complete this registration form.

The FLUASWG is managed by the Center for Disaster Risk Policy at Florida State University and the State Emergency Response Team (SERT) Air Operations Branch.
